Ingredients

  • 1 c. Tomato Powder
  • 3 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/3 c. THRIVE Honey Crystals or use sugar or honey - your choice
  • 1/2 c. Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
  • 1 tsp. Salt, Table
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. Ground Allspice

Directions

  1. In a medium sized pot combine all the ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon to mix and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  2. Reduce heat and gently simmer, stirring frequently till ketchup reaches the perfect consistency for you. Expect that to be about 45 minutes - depending on thickness desired.
  3. Pour into glass jar and refrigerate. Mine yielded 2 pint jars.
  4. Best to let it sit for a day to allow flavours to fully blend (that's if you can stay out of it that long).
